completely unnecessary

kaplan's books all tout their course. i would skip this and stick to saunders or lippincot. the kaplan books are good for using their method to figure out the nclex, but, they really focus on that rather than the actual content on nclex. plus, the questions they ask seem to be harder than the actual nclex. I have friends who took kaplan and passed in 75 questions. I did not take kaplan and passed in 118 questions. so if you are focused on passing with the least amount of questions, then yes, get this. if not use what you have and focus on content.

I downloaded this to my Kindle HD because it was free, free is always good. I use this for review when I'm working and just need a little something to fill in the time. It has the basics and I like that.
