Fun read
By Donna Lang
My grandkids know all the fairy tales written so when I read the first "twisted" one they were enthralled! Actually so was I! At the end they shouted "read another on grandma". We had a good time discovering the changes made to a familiar story.

Fairy tales for a new age!
By J.E. Dragon
What a welcome relief - fairy tales with strong female characters and a new twist. While I enjoyed some of the stories better than others (just as I enjoy some fairy tales more than others) these stories were lots of fun to read. No princesses waiting to be rescued here! These ladies take matters into their own hands. Lots of fun! These won't replace the original tales, but they do a good job of giving everyone a new perspective.
